Rum Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

2 tbsp. cornstarch

2 cups milk

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 tsp. rum flavoring

Directions:

In saucepan, combine sugar with cornstarch. Add milk and butter. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and is slightly thickened. Turn heat off, add rum.  Serve warm over bread pudding.
