Legendary muralist Robert Dafford has painted around the world—but says Rayne, Louisiana holds a special place in his heart.
ROBERT DAFFORD SOT: “The city of Rayne helped me get a lot of recognition early in my career. And we’ve done six paintings here and hope to do six more.”
Dafford recently returned to unveil his newest mural, I Only Have Eyes for You, painted on the storefront of Rayne’s Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
The latest addition honors local culture and Rayne’s long tradition of public art.
