Come to Rayne Saturday, September 23, 2023 for a big car show, arts and crafts, food, and particularly for William Thibodeaux’s French Table at 9:15; Dr. Elista Istre’s paper titled “From Sea to Shining Sea: Foodways Along the Old Spanish Trail Highway” at 10:00; Dr. Michael Martin’s paper “What’s So Spanish About the Old Spanish Trail” at 10:45; and a brief talk about “Research Needs Pertaining to the Old Spanish Trail and the Old Spanish Trail Highway” at 11:30-12. Free admission, car show under the Pavilion and all other events in the air-conditioned Rayne Civic Center
