Hi y’all — I’m Chere Ledoux with Acadia Parish Tourism, and today I’m taking you to one of Iota’s most charming cultural treasures: Le Musée. 

Located in the heart of the Pointe-aux-Loups Cultural District, Le Musée is where Acadia Parish history and creativity come together. Inside, you’ll find local art on display alongside artifacts that tell the story of Iota and the surrounding community — the kind of place that makes you slow down, look closer, and appreciate the roots of Cajun country. 

Le Musée also hosts special events throughout the year, including community favorites like Taste of Iota and their Bourbon & Cigar Night fundraiser — so there’s always something happening beyond the exhibits. 

You can visit by appointment, or stop by during their Coffee Party, held the second Wednesday of each month from 9 to noon.
