Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 cups flour
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Pecans (optional)
Instructions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with pecans, cinnamon, and sugar, and dot with butter. Bake in moderate oven.
