Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. beef brisket or soup bone
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn
- 3 quarts water
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup cabbage, chopped
- 2 tbsp. uncooked rice
- 2 tbsp. parsley, minced
- small amount broken spaghetti or macaroni
- salt or seasoning of choice
Instructions:
In a 4-quart pot, add all ingredients except spaghetti or macaroni. Simmer for 3 hours or until meat is tender. Add spaghetti or macaroni into soup during last 20 minutes.
