Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. lemon peel
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 cup chopped (fine) pecans
Directions
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and other ingredients. Divide into four portions. Make long rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Chill. Cut very thin and bake about 12-15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
