Carnival D’ Acadie just got bigger and better! Join the City of Crowley for our annual Mardi Gras celebration on Tuesday, February 17th at our NEW Urban Park & Pavillion ! We will have live bands, food and craft vendors and our parade all located down Historic Main Street!

“CPCDC: A Night in Rio” 8th Annual Mardi Gras Ball, Church Point, Louisiana

February 7th, 2026 6 PM- Midnight

The event is organized by the Church Point Community Development Corporation (CPCDC) in Church Point, Louisiana
It’s held at the Church Point Community Center, starting at 6 PM and ending at midnight.
The ticket price ($85) includes dinner and drinks.
The evening features live musical entertainment.
It serves not only as a Mardi Gras Ball, but also as a community-building event: CPCDC Mardi Gras Ball brings the community together and supports its local development projects.

For generations, the Courir de Mardi Gras has been a cherished Cajun tradition in Louisiana — a celebration rooted in culture, community, and the spirit of Mardi Gras passed down year after year. The Saddle Tramp Rider’s Club proudly invites the community to join us for the 64th Annual Courir de Mardi Gras, honoring this time-honored Cajun tradition in Church Point.

Join us for the 25th Annual Children’s Courir de Mardi Gras, celebrating 25 years of this special Cajun tradition in Church Point. This family-friendly event introduces children to Cajun Mardi Gras culture in a safe, welcoming environment and is known locally as the Courir de Mardi Gras de les Petits Enfants.

 Mardi Gras Day (February 17, 2026) / 9 AM to 5 PM

Authentic Prairie Cajun Foods accompanied with the great sounds of local Zydeco and Cajun Bands, crafts, and the opportunity for Young Musicians to showcase their talent. 

The highlights of the day include a Catholic mass at 9 AM, the presentation of our Les Tout Petite Mardi Gras at 1:30 PM and the arrival of the Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras at 2:30 PM.

The Tee-Mamou Iota Mardi Gras Runners also make appearances at DI’s Cajun Restaurant in Basile, Louisiana. They’ll visit the restaurant in traditional costumes on February 13th, 14th, 16th, and 17th at 6:30 and 8 PM each of these evenings.
